SPORTS ACHIEVEMENT

Sports Achievement in Socrates Educa International School

At SE International School, we are proud to celebrate the sports achievements of our students at national and international levels. Here we share some of their success stories.

EIC/SEIS has enabled over 30 young people to reach the highest levels in their sports, and we continue to help develop well-rounded, balanced individuals.

Some successes to mention:

Sandro Portune

(Windsurf, IQ Foil) is currently preparing to compete as a participant in the Spanish, European and World Championships.

Maria Castellví

Competes in the Freeride World Tour (Freestyle skiing) and has just graduated from the Junior Category to the Adult Competition.

Albert Quesada

(Handball) plays for the Catalan and Spanish teams and has just joined the Barça first team. His team won the Minicopa del Rey in 2024.

Emma Castillo​

(Judo) is the current Catalan Champion.

Eric Castillo​

 (Judo) is the current Catalan Champion.

Anna Torres Rojas

(Football) plays for Villarreal CF and the Catalan National Team.

Gunnar Montseny

(Volleyball) won the Spanish National Championship with his team (U-16), as well as winning an EIC academic scholarship and studying for a Double Physics and Maths degree in Barcelona (UAB) and the US (Berkley).

Roc Vela

(Swimming) is currently with the Spanish and Catalan national teams, studying in the UK and competed in the GB National Championships, qualified as the best Junior Swimmer in Catalonia with 6 gold medals at the Spanish Championships.

Luca Koleosho

(Football) plays for Burnley, last season in the English Premier League, previously with Espanyol and also Italy U-21.

Natalia Fanjul

(Basketball) joined Barça seven years ago, helping him grow on and off court, playing in the Júnior Preferent A category as a small forward, contributing in defense, shooting and team play and pursuing his studies.

The Saudi Future Falcons

(Football) will form the basis of the Saudi squad in the Gulf Cup and will face top European teams in the Al-Abtal Cup.
SEIS students have reached national and international levels in:
American Football, Basketball, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Freestyle Skiing, Handball, Judo, Karting, Pole Dancing, Sailing, Roller Skating, Sailing, Skiing, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball and Windsurfing.
